As you say, Byron is sadly missed.
He was some character. First met I'm at age 10 when we enjoyed the schooling provided by an establishment in Cardiff known Gorilla Villa. Later bumped into him on a CompuServe boating forum. He stopped speaking to me for all of a week when myself and The Headmistress who was in the UK boarded Ocean Eagle while moored close to one of his watering holes at Kingston, she was a forum Sysop and he and she came head to head on many occasions. Certainly a great character from one of the Cardiff Greek shipping families who operated. Liberty ships from Cardiff after the war some of which became household names.
