I am intrigued, Do you drop your masts to pass under bridges, or just have a limited cruising range between bridges?

Many river boats rig a pulley on the forestay so you can drop the mast as you approach a bridge, then pull it back up afterwards. Some can even do it without needing to paddle if you get the speed up.

or if you're in a single hander, just lean it over.
