So....

Given that I'm the kind of guy who buys a two quid tub of oxalic acid to clean my waterline rather than the 25 quid tub of blue goo with oxalic acid in it that the chandlers sell,

What do I use to clean my bombard PVC inflatable dinghy?

The starbrite liquid money inflatable boat cleaner on offer in the swindlers must surely have a cheaper alternative?

I'm all ears......

Polymarine cleaner works very well but so does one of unbranded cheap shower cleaners. Acetone OK very occasionally for stubborn marks but will make the pvc brittle over time with regular use by degrading plasticiser.

Stick some patches of non-slip fabric over the top to tidy it up?

I mixed Cillit Bang with Cream Cleaner from Tesco's value range to clean my Walker Bay tubes, using a stiff srubbing brush. Got almost all the staining off with little effort.
