Consequences of low tourism

Last year, around September, I had difficulty buying grp resin and antifoul paint. This was because the chandlers openly admitted that they would not re-stock the shelves with time dated products because of low demand which would leave them holding worthless stock.

I do not expect any imrovement this year. GRP resin must be fresh and less than 9 month or so. I have no idea about useful antifoul paint and whether they are subject to "best before" dates. I am refering to Greece here.

Any tips about which products we should beware of. In fact I cannot recall seeing a date stamp on anything other than food.

Thanks for that excellent source. One problem solved. I really need fresh resin and hardener for a structural job which I had to delay from last year.
