Hi
Can anyone please help me decipher this class notation for a BV registered vessel:

I 3/3 E + Charter Yacht / S

(Note that in the code the plus sign I have shown is actually meant to be a maltese cross symbol)

Thanks

Hi,
Cant help with the first section but Yacht - Charter means as it says and the additional service notation -S is for a steel hulled vessel. I suspect you already guessed that though.
the BV yacht class rules are online: http://www.veristar.com/portal/rest...achtsrules/documents/4760.5.NR500_2012-03.pdf

I suspect the I 3/3 E may be contained within the rules for steel hulled vessels, Cant be sure if they are, but dont have time to check right now.
If you check the BV website it may help...
If you havent got anywhere by then I will be able to check later tommorow.
