Popped up to watch the fireworks at the Kent Life Farm , free to watch from the lock cut. Good turn of folks and the little cafe was doing good business.
Following day, waiting for sufficient water for a 12.40 lock exit back to RCC.
Lockie wanders up just before 11.00, with the news there is already enough water to go, leave it any later and no room to get under Aylesford Bridge.
Perhaps they closed the Barrier. ?
Ps. The big tree is now gone but the lower gate has got gremlims so only the small lock in use.Some rubbish in river, nothing to worry old hands.
