I would go for a trailer sailer something like a Jaguar 22 with swing keel and shallow draft. You get get into shallow water and if you ground you can stay upright. You will need a 4WD to tow and launch it though or you could just ask someone to do that for you in the 1st instance.

PM me if you might be interested in a Carravela 25. My sometime crew and old friend has just died and his widow wishes it to go to a good home. A charity donation should secure it.
Sails really well, Yanmar diesel running strong. New sails.
Much work carried out but minor jobs still to do.
The pro's on this one is that it will be low cost and is a good safe boat that is easy to manage.
Cons are 1.4 draught and requires a mooring.
