Pubs in Hamble are a good shout or the other side of the river, Warsash maybe?
Perhaps the Doghouse in Swanwick marina, I think it has reopened.

Re-opened as the Boat House, a good place for a beer and a natter but have been in a couple of times for food and were disappointed on both occasions.
Tend to use the Ship for food nowdays.

Sorry guys been wrapped up in this sterndrive malarky.

Friday 4th May, 7pm gathering in the King and Queen Port Hamble.. not quite on the water but close enough with visitor berths a short walk away in Port Hamble Marina. Great grub from my experience and apparently voted the best 'boaty' bar in Europe for 2011

King & Queen Port Hamble

I'll see if I can get us a table booked for later in the evening.. will also check if we can get a visitor berth deal if enough of us.

Let me know:)

I can't say 100%, but if the weather is semi-sensible to get there by boat (i.e. less than sixes) I could be there. Driving not really an option.

Hi Gary,

Amanda and I plan to come over but will struggle to make 7pm. We're more likely to get there for 7:30.

Ian

got to admit that we may be a little late too with the travel time Ian... not a problem, do you still want to eat, 7:30pm will still be fine if you do.

cheers Gary

Hi, just spoke to she who is mostly obeyed, and Mrs FP and the seal pup would like to muscle in too. Upside is that even if the weather is rubbish, I will have transport.

So, that's three Flower Power's for dinner, confirmed.

looks like a good turn out!

certainly does Howard:cool:, look forward to seeing everyone there tomorrow...

got a feeling the table won't be large enough but we should be able to deal with that on the night... will give them a heads up that we've got up to 23 to cater for...

got my boys coming too (Jamie and Caley)

Two less from the list we're afraid.

The rubbish weather for the weekend has persuaded us to stay home this weekend.

Have a great night all and hope to see you at the next get together.
