For open cell flooded lead acid, I use an access hire company in Nottingham

For sealed lead acid, Tanya are generally competitive as already mentioned, Battery Megastore ditto. Although I have on occasions got a cheaper deal buying off the shelf from Halfords! (Which is also the default option if I need a sealed lead acid battery in a hurry)

For gel and AGM, it's shop around for best price time

I wasted about 4 days of a holiday waiting in for batteries from Battery Megastore. Despite being promised that they were on a truck and en route on several occasions, they never were, and I got my money back. Ordered from Tanya 3pm one afternoon - delivered to boatyard in middle of nowhere 9.30am next day.

ETA the boat was in the boatyard in the middle of nowhere :)

If ordering from Tayna, put items in basket but don't proceed to checkout, leave for a while and they may contact you, deals can be done!
