Can anyone help me?

The bottom displayed number(depth), and the displaylight if it is on, on my B&G 2000 hydra FFD instruments starts flashing approximately 25 seconds after the instruments are turned on.

All views on 20/20 displays are displayed as they should and without them flashing. Data on FFD is also displayed correctly even if the lower displayed value flashes. When the FFD flashes, the buttons does not work, until after reboot(and before the 25 seconds passes).

Sometimes it takes longer before the instruments start flashing.

Have tried the different diagnostics which does not find any errors.

If i run some diagnostic e.g. ram test, and then proceed to boot, the flashing error almost always appears later after 1-3 hours.

Flashing depth means the transducer cannot resolve the depth. The is usually due to the depth being out of range, a soft bottom, strong currents or aeration..............or a faulty or badly fouled transducer
