Azores flight info

Anybody worked out the best way to get SWMBO or other persons out to the Azores for a holiday??

My understanding is that you have to go to Portugal first, then connect to Azores from there. Not the cheapest. Perhaps she should get a boat too.

Sorry, didnt fully work. Put in London LHR to Lajes airport and it brings up flights, costs etc.

This is my dads log on and he is entering the race. I am going to fly out and meet him there. I have gone for as cheap as possible - (i`m not long out of university!) I booked a flight from bristol to Lisbon on easy jet website for £25 one way. I have then managed to get a return (you have to have a return for the azores) to terceira for £175 all in one day. Everything for £200!!
