Are the buoys into Walton Backwaters there year round?

Not that I know of, though they sometimes get moved around. It might be worth phoning Titchmarsh for information about the channel, though they are working on restricted hours at present.

We have never heard of any of the buoyage being seasonal, but worth checking as suggested in case there are changes in progress.

I assume you mean the buoys leading into the Walton Channel. They were there two weeks ago. I have never known them to be removed for the winter.

Agree but the channel can move so a local survey is usually completed about this time of the year; if necessary the buoys moved and a chartlet provided. Titchmarsh Marina and The Walton & Frinton Yacht usually have copies of this chartlet. Due to Covid19 the W&RYS is closed TFN but there may be an electronic version of the chart on their website.
