I've watched people copper coating on youtube and I'm not sure I would like to tackle it on a slip with time restraints and impending return of the higher tide.
Sat in a yard allows extra time if anything does not go to plan and the job overruns.
What size of boat do you have ?

I've pulled out shafts, removed rudders and changed skin fittings between tides but copper coat looks hard work. 3 people, one to keep stirring to keep the copper suspended.
I hope the slipway is clean and not muddy.
I admire your enthusiasm and do not doubt you will pull it off. Good luck ?

Being in a yard allows you plenty of extra time to pick better days to do the best that is achievable.
I would pay the extra fees to do a job like this as it makes life a lot easier

The quote I have received is VERY reasonable. Just have to wait for the Covid-19 restrictions to ease and appropriate tide and weather. Where to stay during the work is currently insurmountable.
