Anyone else planning to be about, I know some said they weren't at the BBQ?

The weather looks like it may be OK on Saturday, but the Red Arrows are coming Sunday :O( lets hope it only rains overnight or Sunday morning.

The Vulcan flypast should be good and noisey though.

My daughter is coming up after work on Saturday so we will be at Waterhead most of the day but will be heading south about tea time.

Saturday collecting "new" car. Well, 20 years old.
Sunday depends on what happens with the weather.
Accuweather says a chance of rain on Sunday.

Lake District Weatherline says
Saturday

A fine dry day with some sunny spells. Fresh west to northwest winds easing.

Sunday

A dry start then turning cloudy with rain and gale force southerly winds.

It was a great event, we had an armchair view from the cockpit of course. The highlight was definitely the Vulcan, the power from the engine as it accelerated and climbed was amazing, I half expected to hear about windows being put out in Bowness!

Welcome, nice to have another local hereabouts.

I couldn't get there myself, bit of a shame as I haven't seen a Vulcan for 20+ years.
