Here is one great web site that I found my last yacht job
www.dockjobcrew.com
Once you have registration as a crew member you can find the employers e mails and send your Cv directly to the employers.
So,the employers do not have to pay money to the crew agents to have crew members and all crew can get in contact with the employers directly
Good luck to all Job Hunters

I"ve just posted Aqua Blue's two month slow transit of the central and west Med this summer. Bit long winded, but useful info for crews going in either direction.

I have been apart of a number of liveaboard trip now on many different types of boats. As crew, from San Francisco to Alaska, USVI to Maine Usa, New Zealand to Fiji and Bali indonesia to Thailand. To name a few. I m currently living and working, sailing in Koh Tao Thailand. Dingy sailing and running liveaboard trips to Ang thong national park with a few other options in between.

Some of the blogs on here (eg CygnusIII, Rumsod...) support RSS but do not mention that they do by including the usual symbol:
128px-Feed-icon.svg.png

(Or if they do, it's not obvious.)
Which is a pity, it's an excellent way of following blogs that are infrequently updated.

On Android I recommend SparseRSS:

Mailasail blogs support RSS but if the blogger uses Outlook you can get some odd effects - like black text on a black background. You might like to subscribe to your own blog and check what others are seeing.

If your browser has an RSS icon you can use that too:

But I don't know what browsers have that icon these days. It used to be standard in Firefox but now you have to add it yourself (view > toolbars > customise).

I usually just add the blog address into a feed reader and see if it works.

I've kept a boat blog for the past 7, nearly 8 years. It follows a journey of being a liveaboard on different boats. You might laugh, but occasionally you might cry.
Though I don't generally call myself a lifeaboard, I am a person who lives on board a boat, but the yacht comes first and I bend myself to accommodate its needs, rather than the other way round.
I'm no novice, I've been boating for well over 30 years on a whole variety of boat types. But I'm well aware of my shortcomings and am never afraid to admit it.

Mine blog is a little different as I'm not gallivanting around the world and wishing to tell the world about how wonderful it is. I'm holding down a full time job as well as "living the dream" and attempting to enjoy the life afloat in my own unique way. I also race my home. Which is fraught with comedy moments.

It's one woman and her dog attempting to find intergalactic oneness.

Well it started as a web page 16 years ago to keep my mum in the picture.
That was before pactor was easily available, and the word "blog" did not exist. Amazon gave away free gifts with every purchase. Our first digital camera was a Casio QV5000SX that was a 1.3 Megapixel, and it drew crowds wherever we went. Mum, alas still has not seen it, but you might,

Many thanks for the note, just discovered the email link. Still in Auxonne on the Saone and now considering departure, possibly today.
Fair winds and a following sea.

Add your sailing blog link and photo to our sailing blog page.

I'm just doing some housework on our website and I've improved our Friends' Sailing Blog page. If you'd like to add your sailing blog, feel free to do so. Now you can add an image, format the text, add links, bullet points etc. I've also reranked the entry order so the latest blog entry appears first.

If you've already added your blog details you should be able to return to it and edit your entry (PM me if you get stuck). If you've not added your details, feel free to do so. I've added in an example entry.
