Quick windlass controls

I have a Quick Hector windlass with foot switches at the bow and a handset control with up/down buttons wired into the cockpit. The windlass will let out chain under power readily and the foot switch and cockpit control each operate this. But neither of the the up controls on the bow up switch and the cockpit handset are operating.

I checked wiring and connections - all seem OK - and then replaced the up foot switch - no change. Windlass and switches were professionally installed and have worked well for 10 years, with occasional replacement of foot switches.

Problem occurred after winter lay up and replacement of house battery bank.

Any suggestion as to the cause of both up switches being out of action? Any alternative way to get the windlass to haul in chain?

Possible the relay/solenoid...
