Charts are available for free on Humber.com. As of last week the ukho now chart the navigational marks and ships course but it is yet to be reflected on navionics charts. Redcliffe sand has been building there for the last decade or so. Vessel is has been refloated now.
If you can try the temperature input on both sides of the unit and report back it would be appreciated. Mine only works on the right as you look at it.
I have the cx5003. The unit is great with one engine but I wanted to use the second engine temperature input as an exhaust temperature monitor. I cannot seem to get the second engine temp or oil pressure to display on my simrad nss and b&g vulcan plotters. Not sure if it’s the cx5003 or the...
Thanks
Yes stage Renogy charges the lifepo4 from the engine battery. The engine battery is just a Agm.
The Renogy seems to want less amps than rod collins suggests. I only had the issue after the 80amp alternator upgrade. I thought it might fool the alternator in to thinking it should only...
I have 200ah of lifepo4 that charges through a Renogy dcc50s at around 45A from a 55A hitachi alternator on a 3ym20.
I upgraded the alternator to the hitachi lr180 80A model.
Problem is it now puts out more amps then the 50A Renogy dcc50s can handle so it cuts in and out.
My next thought is...
Go into network - NMEA 0183 and change the baud rate to 4800. If the ais messages stop they are coming form there. Do you have a vhf with ais fitted too?
I have a 3ym20 that has the b25 panel of 2012 vintage. The tacho digital display has the option of displaying coolant temperature. From new it has always shown - - C but still (presumably) has a high temp alarm.
Has anybody found the wiring diagram or installed a temperature sender so I can see...
I have two size 0 Lewmar portlights in that are peeling around the exterior frames. They appear to be painted black by the factory.
Any ideas on the best fix(anodise, paint and which primer) as I cannot seem to find replacement black frames.
Cant comment on fuel consumption as we run the heater from the same tank. We do find that around 3000 to 3200 we have less vibration. Spoke to french marine when we picked the boat up and their advice was not to run under 3000 rpm for long periods and to vary the revs. Glazing/exhaust elbow...

Depths downstream of Keadby in the Trent are all greater than 0.8m above chart datum. The Ouse to Goole is currently 1.2m. If deciding to go to Hull there are depths off around 0.4m at Upper Whitton light float.
All charts are available for free online at Humber.com in the excellent chart...
Handicap ratings tell part of the story - 15 seconds per mile for shoal draft. Have raced a shoal draft 33' boat for the last two years around 60 races per year. Points to 33 degrees apparent before vmg drops off so comparable with any similar standard draft yacht. We win races if we get our act...
Nikon hg brilliant for size but if you want to see than I have never regretted the cannon is18x50 swmbo bought me. Pricey but I have had admirals and thls inspectors look through them and they have been converted in seconds. Visual navigation is about planning and they let you plan for a lot longer.
