Well, I've given in and bought self-tailing winches - Lewmar Evo - for Wakatere. The literature talks about their "FastFit studs" but I can't find a source. So off-the-shelf screws it is - but do I use SS (with Duralac?) or do they have to be bronze to match the winch base? Thanks in advance...

Tried to go sailing yesterday - water in the fuel tank:eek:! I think the filler wasn't tightened up properly and rain got in:o. Actually very pleased it stopped running on the mooring, not trying to get into an unfamiliar port in F6. Just had a call - she's ready to go:D! stripped, cleaned...

No I'm not swearing (well, I have been). I've got an airlock in the cooling circuit in my Beta BZ482 (14HP) - I'd be glad to have any tips on bleeding it. In particular - is that screw in the middle of the thermostat housing a bleed vent? TIA Charles
