Touched a sore point then. I was reading a section about it in the latest MBM. Best of luck with the legal action. We keep the boat on the Thames at Shepperton. Run her down to the barrier a few times a year.

Donzi build speed boats, have done for years. www.donzimarine.com The Regazza was built for a short period, but to be fair they stick to out an out power boats. They are doing very well in the Off shore P1 power boat championship. Yes does sound Italian.

Oh yeah baby. I am liking them in a big big way. So not italian but american. Would very much like to play catch me if you can with one of them like on the web home page ooh er /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

25 foot, 5.7 Ltr Chevolet V8. Did have straight through exhausts through the transom, but the noise upset the locals. Recently re-worked and now exits through the stern drive. Shame really.

Better known in the States than here. Donzi was one of several builders of high performance powerboats set up by the legendary Don Aronow. Very nice looking boats, especially when crewed by Charlie's Angels, as happened in one of the films.

Aronow himself came to a sticky end, either because he would, or wouldn't, build high speed boats for the Friendly Local Drug Dealers of Florida. Or possibly because he would insist on sh@gging other men's wives*.

*(Depending on which story you believe)

But you probably know all this already. I'm not aware of any Donzi owners on here, but you might have more joy on Boatmad, 'cos lots of them are into fast American boats /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Donzi's are fantastic boats.

Great promo video HERE of the Miami Vice Donzi's, a 38 ZR, and a 43 ZR.

Awesome! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Am I the only fool to own a Donzi Regazza 25? I would like to hear & compare notes from anyone who currently runs a similar boat.
