Gosport sail repairer recommendations ?

I have a mainsail needing some minor repairs and alterations ( batten pocket end split and add reefing points ) and a tonneau cover needing new zips. Boat is at Haslar and I am in Haywards Heath ( near Gatwick ). Can anyone recommend a suitably located loft for repairs ? , i.e. somewhere on the route between the two points.
 
Arun sails have done a few nice jobs for me.

if you want to keep it local how about getting a quote from coastal covers just inside the car park at royal clarence marina never used them so cant comment. although they gave me a quote to replace the four zips about a metre long each in my spray hood about a year ago. They seemed quite efficient.

in the end i bought the zips my self for about a tenner and spent a few evenings at home sewing.
 
I'd condider North Sails for a new suit of hi-tech sails, but not for that. They quoted £400 for similar work for my Snapdragon 24's main earlier this year, whilst fully agreeing that I could get a new main for the same price from some of the cheaper makers.

If you find somewhere good, please let me know, 'cos, surprise, surprise, I didn't give North the job, which is probably what they wanted.

If you can find your way to Wicor Marine (about 1 mile from where you would be joining the M27 at junction 11) I can recomend Flew Sails. And Lucas Sails have recently, and rather unsportingly, set up business next door to Flew so you can get two quotes if you've got the nerve.
 
A number of the lofts collect from (and deliver back to) locked sheds at Gosport Marina. I know Sanders do for sure cos I've used them but IIRC, North and Banks also offer the same service. Might be worth giving Gosport Marina a call to confirm which of the lofts do collect.

be interested to know how you get on as we need some work done on ours which is now out of water at shoreham - 2 local firms (in shoreham) offering sail and cover repairs so I plan to ask them for a price as handily local (not far from HH either) if you want their details let me know
 
I had a main split by the Nab on a Friday night many years ago, B & H dried and repaired the sail on the Saturday morning at a reasonable price and we were off for the duty free by lunchtime.

We always used B & H, they were excellent and a pleasure to deal with but as far as I could find they went under some years ago, as did at least one other small sailmaker we knew of. They are not at Park road and not listed by BT.
