I think that a year ago the 125 was affected by a GPS date rollover and it will have reverted to some very old date. Although the position fix should be OK, don't rely on it for anything date related such as tidal streams etc which will be shown incorrectly on your plotter.
Paint around the fixing holes which will extend the life as it is this area that is very thin.
Mine is hollow as the nut on the end of the prop shaft extends into the anode area.
I have a hydronic system and afaik you must have a circuit in case of starting the boiler with nowhere to circulate. I always have the calorifier circuit open to avoid issues.

If the C80 does not pick up gps position after this change, it may well be that the transceiver needs a setting changed. What transceiver do you have fitted?
Also, as i found out after a factory reset, you must also check that the ais layer is active on your C80.
Ais transceivers must have its own dedicated ais antenna. These are usually just antennae and not gps receivers - that functionality is provided by the transceiver itself. You will need to connect the nmea 38400 from the ais unit to the C80 and just disconnect the existing raystar 150 from its...
Any nmea gps receiver would connect to the c80 nmea input. You will have to disconnect the old gps receiver as on the c80, any gps data on the seatalk bus takes precedence.
If you have an ais transponder connected to the c80 you may find it is possible to configure the ais transponder to pass...
The Reeve Fowkes tidal streams are the best around ( from those I have used) but sadly Absolute Tides, whilst being an excellent app, fails to include Cherbourg tide times which Reeve Fowkes is based on. Now, if there was an app which incorporated Reeves Fowkes tidal streams ....
Remember that Exmouth has a lifting foot bridge and it may not be open for an early departure. The harbourmaster may let you moor up where the ferry boats go from overnight? On anything other than slack water, there is quite a tide rip across the marina entrance from what I recollect.
