I use less that 5 litres to do mine with a 4" roller. Also 50ft with 2.1m draft doing 2 coats.

I use jumbo 4" short pile rollers to do mine (50ft). I foind that 9" rollers take up too much paint, splash paint too much, and make your arms ache.

I polished my compasses with Solvol Autosol. They look like new now.

Your pump ahould be set at B aligned with the dot, with the engine at TDC.

Fair point. The camshaft for the MD22 is different to the TAMD22.

Are you sure you've timed it right. There are two sets of timing marks on the pump pulley for turbo and non-turbo. Other thoughts are air leak from aftercooler, losing boost pressure or exhaust partially blocked.

Both good choices. Also consider the little Hunters and Jaguars. If your budget was higher, I was going to suggest looking at the Vigo 21
